Phoenix musician shot, dumped in Valley canal killer sentenced

A man has been sentenced to 48 years in prison for his role in two distinct murders, according to recent reports.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has confirmed that Timothy Bernal received a sentence in Maricopa County Superior Court after pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.

Law enforcement connected Bernal to the death of Austen Mole a couple of months earlier during the investigation into Munoz’s death.

Austen Mole, a talented 25-year-old musician and producer, who is famously known as “Prince Azlynn,” went missing in February 2023 after he was last spotted in the vicinity of 19th Street and Camelback Road.
