Man from Pinal County receives 10-year sentence for luring a minor

A man from Casa Grande, aged 32, has been given a ten-year sentence in federal prison for enticing a minor, as authorities revealed recently.

Adam Tovar received his sentence on October 22nd from U.S. District Judge Raner C. Collins. The judge also mandated a lifetime of supervised release for Tovar upon his release from prison, as stated in a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Tovar pleaded guilty on June 17 and will also be required to register as a sex offender.

On December 29, 2022, the Marana Police Department stopped a vehicle and found Tovar inside with the victim in the front passenger seat.
