As they arrived at the field near State Highway 288 and Airport Boulevard, Pinto swiftly fled from the car while Muñoz called out, “Babe, babe.”

“Are you seriously asking me to learn about deer hunting? Do you honestly think I would go deer hunting in this place? Screw you. What the hell is wrong with you, treating me like that! You’re a complete idiot,” Pinto reportedly exclaimed, with the couple standing just five feet away from each other.

As both of his hands were hit, Pinto, who reportedly held the gun in a titled manner, continued shouting insults at Muñoz.

Muñoz recounted the terrifying moment when he sensed a sudden impact on his left hand. He vividly described the sensation of heat radiating through his hand. In the midst of the chaos, Muñoz found himself running while clutching his chest and stomach in pain.

Muñoz recounted his desperate attempt to escape, clutching his chest in agony as he stumbled and fell to the ground, blood flowing from his wounds. According to the arrest affidavit, Muñoz exclaimed, “Oh my God, it’s not my time! What did I do, what did I do?”

“I apologize, that wasn’t my intention. I realize I didn’t shoot you in the right spots,” Muñoz remembered Pinto confessing as she stood over him. “I didn’t mean for it to be like this. It was supposed to be quick.”

Pinto aimed his shot straight at Muñoz’s face, but his hands managed to block it, according to reports.

Muñoz expressed concerns about his partner, stating that she would exhibit jealousy, possessiveness, and a tendency to isolate him from loved ones. Additionally, he mentioned that she tends to hold grudges.

Pinto is currently under bail conditions that prohibit her from being in close proximity to Muñoz or his family. Additionally, she is required to wear an ankle monitor as a measure of monitoring her whereabouts.
