A person who was the subject of a Silver Alert on Sunday was discovered deceased in Edmond on Wednesday.
At around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Edmond Police received a call from a concerned citizen who was out walking their dog. The citizen reported discovering a damaged vehicle in the tree line located north of the swim beach at Arcadia Lake.
Officers responded on the scene and discovered the body of 89-year-old Katherine Nix lying outside the vehicle.
On Sunday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials issued a Silver Alert for Nix, who was suffering from dementia, on behalf of Moore Police.
The authorities are currently investigating the crash and will provide more information as it becomes available.
