New York City is already experiencing the mild impact of a bomb cyclone, with heavy rain and strong winds sweeping across the five boroughs as of Wednesday afternoon.
According to Hochul’s warning, the area can expect strong winds later on Wednesday and throughout Thursday. These powerful gusts have the potential to cause power outages and displace unsecured Christmas decorations.
