Thirteen Arrested in League City on Felony Charges Over Thanksgiving Week
Between November 21 and November 27, 2024, the League City Police Department arrested 13 individuals on felony charges, ranging from state jail felonies to first-degree felonies, according to a departmental press release.
The arrests included:
- Cody Rivera, of Sugar Land, charged with possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram, with a bond of $5,000.
- Alonzo August, of League City, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a $50,000 bond.
- Brandon Garza, of Katy, facing multiple charges, including two Galveston County warrants and theft of a firearm, with bonds totaling $15,000.
- Lazaro Renovato, of Galveston County, charged with a third or more DWI offense, with a bond of $25,000.
Additional arrests included:
- Adrian Lopez, of Baytown, for burglary of habitation with intent to commit another felony, with bonds set at $50,000.
- Glenn Mason, of Houston, charged with possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, with a total bond of $50,000.
- Keshawn Gaines, of League City, arrested on a Galveston County warrant for evading arrest with a vehicle, with a $20,000 bond.
Other individuals apprehended:
- John Fuerst, of Santa Fe, detained on a Texas Department of Criminal Justice warrant for parole violation, with no bond set.
- Kayla Ramirez, of Santa Fe, charged with possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams, with a $50,000 bond, and three Bexar County warrants for possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram, with bonds unspecified.
- Rachel Farris, of Dickinson, arrested on a Galveston County warrant for theft under $2,500 with two or more prior convictions, with a $60,000 bond.
- Stephany Reyes, of Dickinson, charged with misapplication of fiduciary or financial institution property valued between $2,500 and $30,000, with a $100,000 bond.
- Amber Conner, of League City, arrested on a Galveston County warrant for burglary of a building, with a $60,000 bond, and a Harris County warrant for possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams, with bonds not listed.
- Sarah Alam, of League City, charged with DWI with a child under 15 years old, with a $2,000 bond.
The League City Police Department emphasized that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
