Fugitive Daniel “Danny” Ball Located, Apprehended In Maryland

A fugitive has been apprehended, but another one is still evading capture as the search in Southern Maryland persists.

According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, 55-year-old Daniel “Danny” Ball, who had multiple warrants for failure to appear in court for felony theft, as well as new charges relating to various shoplifting incidents, has been apprehended and taken into custody.

Ball has a history of using force to evade capture during previous thefts, according to investigators.

In addition, there were five open warrants for him in St. Mary’s County.

The search for Ball has come to an end, but the pursuit of Austin Brent Leaman continues. Leaman is currently wanted in St. Mary’s County on four unresolved warrants.

Leaman, a Black individual, was characterized as standing at a height of 5-foot-8 and weighing around 140 pounds. He had black hair and brown eyes.
