An Alabama family is reaching out to the public, seeking assistance in finding 45-year-old Ulysses Hardy Anderson, who has been missing since Saturday, February 8. Anderson stands at an impressive height of 6 feet, 2 inches and weighs 170 pounds.
Dallas County has confirmed that Anderson had previously worked with a local fire department, but his time there came to an end around 2019. According to Anderson’s wife, Kimberly Anderson, she was notified by Anderson’s uncle on Sunday that her husband had not returned to his uncle’s home after visiting earlier in the day, as reported by The Selma Times-Journal.
Kimberly stated that she hadn’t spoken to her husband before he went missing but tried to contact him once she found out about his disappearance. Regrettably, she didn’t receive any response. Later on, she found out that Anderson had talked to a friend on the day he disappeared. However, the friend didn’t mention anything out of the ordinary about their conversation.
“I do know that Ulysses suffers from mental health issues, so I don’t know exactly what he could have been thinking or what he was concerned with,” Kimberly said. “The main thing is just trying to make sure we’re able to get him back home safely so that he can get treatment.”
The Anderson family is appealing to anyone who may have information about Anderson’s location to step forward. If you possess any details that could assist in the investigation, please reach out to the Dallas County authorities at 334-641-0245.
