Tikisha King, a 29-year-old woman, was discovered shot inside a liquor store located at 14370 South Post Oak Road at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Upon arriving at the store, an employee came across the tragic incident and immediately contacted the police.
According to police, they were able to identify Wilkerson as the suspect in the case during their investigation. It was revealed that he had previously been in a dating relationship with King.
On Wednesday, Wilkerson was arrested and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail.
