Two Men Charged in Muscatine Car Break-In Spree

Two 18-year-olds have been charged in connection with a series of car burglaries, according to the police in Muscatine, Iowa.

At 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, the Muscatine Police Department apprehended Zachary Eli Early and Justin Cortez Bass for breaking into a vehicle along the 200 block of West 7th Street.

According to officials, Early and Bass were found to be responsible for two additional vehicle burglaries and an attempted burglary of a fourth vehicle during their investigation.

Both Early and Bass face multiple charges, including three counts of third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, as well as one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree attempted burglary.

Justin Bass has been charged with possession of burglary tools, according to officials.
