During the operation, authorities recovered 36 weapons worth around $25,000. In addition, police officials recovered 260 pounds of illegal narcotics and 1,000 restricted chemical pills, totaling $2.77 million in street value.
The confiscated narcotics included:
- 19.75 pounds of cocaine
- 1.25 ounces of crack cocaine

The prevalence of fentanyl, an extremely strong synthetic opioid, is still a major worry because of its role in the ongoing opioid crisis. Its availability on the streets poses a significant public health danger.
Human Trafficking Investigations
One of the most important components of the operation was the investigation into human trafficking. The Virginia State Police received 67 fresh tips about trafficking, increasing the total number of tips to 592. Officers investigated 179 instances, totaling 2,486 individual investigation activities.
These efforts resulted in the identification of 60 trafficking victims, who received critical support services such as shelter, medical care, and counseling. The Virginia State Police remain committed to providing victims with the services they need to begin rebuilding their lives.
Additional Enforcement Efforts
The operation also centered on gaming enforcement, with authorities receiving 20 reports on unlawful gambling activity. While seemingly unrelated, illegal gaming operations frequently fuel larger criminal enterprises.
A Unified Approach to Public Safety
These crime-fighting activities represent Governor Glenn Youngkin’s determination to reduce violent crime and improve public safety across the Commonwealth. By working with local, state, and federal agencies, the Virginia State Police were able to target a wide range of criminal activity.
The Virginia State Police encourage residents to report suspicious activities and to remain involved in efforts to make communities safer. These actions will continue as part of the continuous mission to destroy criminal networks and protect Virginia’s inhabitants.
