Vanished 14-year-old Was Taken By Suspect To Motel In Stuart, Florida: TPD

A 14-year-old girl who went missing in Tampa was taken “without consent” to a motel in Stuart, Florida, authorities said Friday.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert for Dierya Clavier after she vanished from the 4200 block of East Okara Road.

The initial alert stated that the youngster may have been with Edna Francois, but it was later rescinded after Clavier was located.

The Tampa Police Department released a statement after the cancellation, asserting that a suspect had removed Clavier “without parental rights or consent.” Detectives apprehended the man at a Stuart motel and securely recovered Clavier.

Police announced the arrest, but they did not specify if Francois, the initial name in the Missing Child Alert, was the culprit.

Sirrita Rubiano, a Riverview homeowner, is facing financial difficulty due to a plastic fence broken during Hurricane Milton that she claims belongs to her neighborhood.
