US Representative Nancy Mace accuses former fiancé and his business associates of rape and assault

In a violent address on the House floor, U.S. Representative Nancy Mace accused her former fiancé and three other men of drugging and raping her and other women, as well as filming and photographing women and minors without their consent.

The Republican from South Carolina used her floor powers late Monday to lodge the claims against the men, referring to them as “predators” and detailing what she claimed they did to her and other victims.

“You’ve booked yourself a one-way ticket to hell,” she said, addressing the men directly at one point during her almost one-hour speech. “It is nonstop. There are no connections. So I and all of your victims can watch you rot for an eternity.”

She claimed that her former fiancé Patrick Bryant and two business associates drugged and raped her in 2022. She also claimed Bryant, a software entrepreneur, raped her in November 2023, before she left him.

“I categorically deny these allegations. I take this matter seriously and will cooperate fully with any necessary legal processes to clear my name,” Bryant told the South Carolina Daily Gazette newspaper.

During her address, Mace revealed that she discovered over 10,000 movies and photographs on Bryant’s cellphone, including filthy images of women who were unaware they were being shot. Mace revealed that a hidden camera captured a video of her naked.

Mace claimed she gave over all of the information she had against the individuals to South Carolina law enforcement, but Attorney General Alan Wilson did not act.

Mace did not reply immediately to a request for comment on her charges.

South Carolina’s State Law Enforcement Division told the Daily Gazette that an inquiry is ongoing.

Wilson’s office said in a statement the accusations against the attorney general were “categorically false.”
