The U.S. Marshals have successfully apprehended the man accused of killing the promising Cleveland rapper Carlos Banks, also known as KashBankx. The arrest took place in Western Pennsylvania.
Devon Jones, a 25-year-old suspect, was being sought by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder. This came after an extensive investigation into the shooting death of Banks.
U.S. Marshals broke the news on Friday morning that Jones had been apprehended the previous night, January 16, by the Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force. Working in collaboration with the Indiana Borough Police, Indiana County Drug Task Force, Indiana County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana County District Attorney’s Office, and the Pennsylvania State Police, Jones was arrested at a residence on Washington Street in Indiana.
According to reports, Jones was found in possession of illegal drugs, leading to the filing of drug charges in Pennsylvania.
