Temperatures Remain Mild on Sunday, But Expect a Drop Next Week

It’s a cloudy start to the day in Eastern Iowa, with temperatures currently in the mid-30s. As the day progresses, we can expect a mix of clouds and sunshine. High temperatures will reach the mid-50s.

Tonight, temperatures will drop to the mid-30s, and we may experience isolated light sprinkles and flurries. There is a possibility of a few lingering showers in the northeast on Monday morning, but by the afternoon, the sky will be partly cloudy.

Temperatures will start dropping in the afternoon, with the warmest part of the day being the morning, with temperatures in the 30s.

Tuesday’s weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 30s. As we move into Wednesday, there is a possibility of scattered rain and snow showers in the afternoon and continuing into the overnight hours.

However, since Wednesday’s system is still a few days away, it is advisable to stay updated on the latest forecast. Thankfully, Thanksgiving is expected to be dry with a mix of sun and clouds.

High temperatures will hover around the mid-30s on both Wednesday and Thanksgiving before starting to drop. By Black Friday and throughout the weekend, highs will only reach the 20s.
