Suspect Charged With Meth Trafficking In Connection With Prison Drops Across Georgia

A couple from Georgia was taken into custody by deputies for their involvement in methamphetamine trafficking.

The Georgia Department of Corrections received a notification on February 5th, regarding the potential involvement of Jeremiah Shad Garnto, aged 35, in conducting prison drops at various correctional facilities throughout the state.

According to Johnson County officials, Garnto has a track record of engaging in prison drops and has previously served time in prison for this offense. Law enforcement authorities received credible information that the 35-year-old individual possessed a significant drone and other materials associated with prison drops.

The next day, law enforcement agencies including the GDOC and JCSO, visited Garnto’s residence located on Bill Garnto Road in Johnson County.
