Two Injured in Early Morning Shooting in Corpus Christi

Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting early Saturday morning at the intersection of Star Street and North Chaparral Street, the Corpus Christi Police Department reported.

Officers were called to the scene around 2:28 a.m., where they learned that a fight had erupted among several individuals. During the confrontation, a male suspect allegedly fired into the crowd before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, and their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
