Snowfall in the tri-state area caused delays or closures of schools in New York on Monday morning.

Northern Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster, and Dutchess counties in New York received a winter weather alert. The advisory also covered Morris, western Passaic, and Warren counties in New Jersey.
