A homicide investigation is currently underway in a Phoenix neighborhood located near 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The area is in close proximity to the park and ride transit center.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to a call reporting an unknown trouble.
According to Phoenix Police Sgt. Mayra Reeson, officers discovered a victim who is an adult male being investigated for a possible shooting. This incident is being treated as a homicide based on preliminary information obtained from call details.
The authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
