Four individuals were apprehended on Tuesday for reportedly pilfering several packages from a warehouse in Mesa, where they were employed, as per law enforcement officials.
According to the Mesa Police Department, the four individuals were employed at the United Parcel Service (UPS) warehouse near Higley and Baseline roads.
The theft scheme was brought to light when the UPS security supervisor conducted an internal fraud and theft review at the warehouse, according to the police.
The supervisor has recently discovered that certain packages received by the warehouse were not reaching their intended recipients. Mesa police shared various images showcasing some of these misplaced items, which included a PAC-MAN arcade game and a 65-inch LG OLED TV screen.
UPS security actively investigated and gathered evidence indicating the employees’ participation in a fraudulent scheme.

Bo Arias, aged 43, faced charges of committing fraudulent schemes and artifices, categorized as a class two felony, as well as theft exceeding $10,000, classified as a class three felony, according to law enforcement officials.
Jeremy Large, aged 33, is charged with a class three felony for theft exceeding $10,000. Similarly, David Panasci, aged 31, is facing two charges: a class two felony for fraudulent schemes and artifices, and a class three felony for theft exceeding $10,000.
Casey Bedell, who is 31 years old, is currently facing a class three felony charge of theft greater than $10,000.
According to the police, all four men have confessed to their participation in an internal fraud and theft investigation at the warehouse.
