Over 100 migrants apprehended in NYC in just one week during Trump’s ICE raids

In the past week, over 100 migrants have been apprehended in New York City as a result of President Trump’s continued ICE deportation raids.

According to arrest data, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers have apprehended the migrants in New York City and its surrounding areas, as reported by The City.

According to the outlet, the number of busts that occurred until late Tuesday has been accounted for.

The whereabouts of the numerous migrants in custody remained undisclosed at the time.

On January 28th, the federal authorities initiated a significant deportation operation in the city. Following the approval from President Trump, the raids resulted in the arrest of over two dozen individuals who were accused of being illegal migrant killers and traffickers.

New Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, accompanied heavily-armed agents during covert early-morning raids in the Bronx.

One of the initial individuals apprehended in New York City was Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, a suspected leader of the Tren de Aragua gang known for their violent activities. Authorities had been searching for him in connection with a notorious burglary incident that was captured on camera in Aurora, Colorado.

A Dominican Republic citizen, who was wanted for a double homicide in his home country and was the target of an Interpol red notice, has been apprehended.

In just nine days, federal immigration officials reported the arrest of over 7,200 illegal migrants as part of Trump’s crackdown.

Law enforcement operations have primarily targeted sanctuary cities such as New York City, Chicago, and Boston.

ICE has reported that among those apprehended are undocumented individuals who have been accused of rape, committing sex crimes against minors, as well as being involved in gun and drug offenses.
