Oklahoma City Man Faces Felony Assault Charges For Alleged Attack On Child At Sleepover

A 32-year-old man from Oklahoma City was taken into custody on February 19th after reportedly assaulting a child in his residence.

Kristopher Dangelo Renty has been charged with felony aggravated assault.

The Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) filed an incident report stating that the victim was staying overnight at Renty’s residence.

Renty started to feel upset with the child while they were playing games at the sleepover.

During the incident, Renty allegedly made a remark, stating, “If I can provide you with food and clothing, then I should have the right to discipline you.”

He then assaulted the victim and strangled them two times.

According to the victim, they repeatedly informed Renty about the situation and attempted to put an end to it, but they were met with physical aggression as Renty struck them in the face.

Their necks showed signs of bruising on both sides, while their faces had noticeable scratches.
