A 21-year-old woman in Soundview is currently in recovery after an attack and robbery on February 10, according to the police.
Around 9 p.m., at the intersection of Elder Avenue and Watson Avenue, two women approached the 21-year-old victim, as reported by the police.
Police claimed they had a verbal disagreement that swiftly escalated into violence.
According to investigators, a man approached the victim from behind. He hit her in the head, knocking her down.
They say the perpetrators continuously kicked her before stealing her phone and fleeing.
The NYPD is seeking assistance from the public in apprehending the three individuals.
