Eleven men were detained last week in connection with a child trafficking ring in East Alabama. According to WALA News, authorities verified that six people were arrested on February 20 and five more on February 21.
Most of the people who were arrested hailed from East Alabama, with the exception of one person from Georgia and two individuals from Central Alabama.

- 23-year-old Jacob Andrew Fahringer (Auburn) was arrested for Prostitution with a Minor, Child Solicitation by Computer, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 25-year-old Javier Perez (Auburn) was arrested for Prostitution with a Minor, Child Solicitation by Computer, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 27-year-old Arnulfo Diaz-Alvarado (Dothan) was arrested for Prostitution with a Minor, Child Solicitation by Computer, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 22-year-old Efraim Perez Vaquero (Union Springs) was arrested for Prostitution with a Minor, Child Solicitation by Computer, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 28-year-old Seungyun Lee (Auburn) was arrested for Prostitution with a Minor, Child Solicitation by Computer, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 40-year-old Courtney Rashad Avery (Opelika) was arrested for Child Solicitation by Computer and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 43-year-old Grant Kisang Lee (Johns Creek, GA) was arrested for Prostitution with a Minor, Child Solicitation by Computer, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 21-year-old Ismel Cano Montealegre (Montgomery)– Prostitution with a Minor, Child Solicitation by Computer, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 29-year-old Quyen Huu Nguyen (Auburn) was arrested on Two Counts of Prostitution with a Minor, Two Counts of Child Solicitation by Computer, and Two Counts of Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
- 44-year-old Marcus Savon Wilson (Auburn) was arrested for Prostitution with a Minor, Child Solicitation by Computer, and Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act.
The Lee County District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security, and Covenant Rescue Group, a nonprofit committed to helping victims of human trafficking, provided valuable assistance during the investigation.
