A 46-year-old Lenexa woman is now facing criminal charges following a fatal weekend car crash.
Johnson County District Court has charged Amy Dawn Crouch with second-degree murder.
According to police, Crouch was driving a Ford Bronco when it ran a stop sign and collided with a Toyota RAV4 just after 11 p.m. Friday night near the junction of West 89th Terrace and Park Street.
The driver of the Toyota, Shawnee resident Tsige Mesfin, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene.
