League City Police Apprehend 16 Individuals On Felony Charges In One Week

The League City Police Department officers have made a series of arrests in the past week, from December 26, 2024, to January 1, 2025, resulting in the apprehension of 16 individuals on felony charges. The charges range from state jail felonies to first-degree felonies, as reported in a press release by the department.

Among those arrested include Christopher Stokes, a resident of Houston, who is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence. His total bond is set at $160,000, and he also has a Texas Department of Criminal Justice parole violation with no bond. Melodi Williamson, from League City, Alicia Ortiz from Texas City, and Hunter Clement from Houston, have all been charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, each with a $5,000 bond. Fanny Estrada from Dickinson is being held on a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement warrant with no bond.

Kyle Brown, a resident of League City, has been charged with injury to the elderly, and his bond is set at $10,000. Shuan Small from Manvel is facing charges for possession of a controlled substance, and his bond is set at $30,000. Jorge Santiesteban from League City has been arrested on two Galveston County warrants for evading arrest with a vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle, with a total bond of $45,000.

Other individuals who have been arrested include Fernando Juarez, Jr., and Courtney Schisser, both residents of Houston, who have been charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Juarez has a bond of $150,000, while Schisser has a bond of $100,000. Schisser is also facing charges of abandoning/endangering a child. Azaria Walker from Stafford has been charged with theft, fraudulent use/possession of identifying information, and possession of a controlled substance, with a total bond of $60,000. Derman Singleton from Houston has been charged with theft, and his bond is set at $60,000.

Federico Ramirez, Jr., from Houston, and David Nguyen from League City, have both been charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Ramirez has a bond of $20,000, while Nguyen has a bond of $60,000. Sophia Moreno from Pearland and Christopher Sallis from League City are both facing charges for possession of a controlled substance, with bonds of $10,000 and $40,000 respectively.
