It’s no secret that the Cincinnati Bengals haven’t had the season they expected after the offseason. The Bengals’ win over the Dallas Cowboys improved their season record to 5-8, putting their playoff hopes on life support.
Although the Bengals returned to winning ways, their troubles did not end there, according to one Cincinnati-based reporter.
“While Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was playing Monday Night Football, I have confirmed police were called to his Cincinnati area home for a report of a break-in,” reported Karin Johnson on Tuesday.
Johnson followed up with reports on the call.
“Someone is trying to break into the house right now. My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there.
“He’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should go outside,” the caller said, per Johnson.
‘That woman’s daughter also called 911 and said, “Someone broke into my house … It’s like completely messed up,’” reported Johnson.
This occurs shortly after burglaries targeted the homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce during a Monday night game. Hopefully, they will soon take action to protect athletes.
