The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, situated near the northeastern border of Indiana, is seeking help in capturing a fugitive registered sex offender.
The sheriff’s office issued an arrest warrant for Mitchell Wayne Hephner, 34, on February 5. Hephner is wanted for two counts of level 5 felony for Failure to Register as a Sex or Violent Offender.

Hephner, a white male, is 6’1″ tall and weighs around 190 lbs. He has long brown hair, brown eyes, and is often seen sporting a goatee or beard. Notably, he has tattoos all over his body, including his face.
