Identity of woman killed in Queen Valley crash on U.S. 60 revealed

Authorities have identified the woman who was tragically killed in a crash in Queen Valley, located east of Apache Junction, on Monday, according to AZFamily.

Talaura Rhyann Frost, a 23-year-old resident of Snowflake, Arizona, tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle collision. The Arizona Department of Public Safety has confirmed the fatal accident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. on U.S. 60, specifically at milepost 215, near the intersection of Queen Valley Road.

A black Kia SUV had pulled over on the side of the road when it suddenly made a turn directly into the path of a white GMC pickup truck. The two vehicles collided, causing the pickup truck to veer off the road and into a nearby wash.

The family has created a GoFundMe page to support a memorial for Frost and her unborn baby.

The investigation of this case has been taken over by DPS’s Vehicular Crimes Unit.

U.S. 60 underwent closure in the afternoon on Monday to allow crews to investigate the crash and clear the scene. Thankfully, it reopened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
