Houston Police Arrest Drug Dealer and Seize Large Quantity of Drugs During Traffic Stop

A Houston couple fell victim to a realtor who allegedly deceived them into obtaining excessive loans for construction work. Sali Rabah, a 33-year-old Israeli citizen, is accused of orchestrating a scheme in which the elderly couple took out six loans from five different lenders, totaling over $287,000. Rabah now faces charges of theft aggregate and exploitation of an elderly person, both of which are serious felonies. The alleged crimes occurred between August and October of 2022.

During court proceedings, it was revealed that Rabah served as the main contracting agent for all six loans. The couple’s home, valued at $170,134, underwent work that was estimated to cost only $58,836.68. Court records indicate that there is video evidence showing Rabah coaching and manipulating the victims to agree to the loan terms.

Following a probable cause court hearing, a judge set Rabah’s bond at $30,000 for the theft charge and $20,000 for the exploitation charge. The victims have reported recovering some of the money since the incident.
