The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has included Geovany Saul Carcamo, a fugitive with connections to Sherman, in the Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List. In an effort to apprehend him, Texas Crime Stoppers is currently providing a cash reward of up to $3,000. Rest assured, all tips given will remain completely anonymous.
Geovany Saul Carcamo, 27, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala with a criminal record, has been wanted in Grayson County since December 3, 2024, for the aggravated sexual assault of a child. Carcamo was previously deported in 2022 for illegally entering the United States. Authorities suspect that he has recently fled the Sherman area and may be in Houston.

Texas Crime Stoppers, backed by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, provides monetary rewards to individuals who furnish information resulting in the capture of any of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Sex Offenders, or Criminal Illegal Immigrants. In the year 2024, a total of 45 arrests were made by DPS and other law enforcement agencies. These arrests included 16 sex offenders, 10 gang members, and four criminal illegal immigrants. Notably, $32,000 in rewards was disbursed for valuable tips that led to these successful apprehensions.
In order to be eligible for cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following three methods:

- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Submit a web tip through the DPS websiteby selecting the fugitive you have information about then clicking on the link under their picture.
- Submit a Facebook tipby clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).
All tips, regardless of how they are submitted, are completely anonymous. Instead of using a name, tipsters will be provided with a unique tip number.
DPS investigators collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to choose individuals for inclusion in the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Sex Offenders, and Criminal Illegal Immigrants Lists. The DPS website features the current lists, complete with photographs.
