A 44-year-old woman is currently facing multiple charges of theft and fraud. She stands accused of stealing a staggering $81,000 from the Richmond Hill High School soccer booster club. The alleged incident has raised serious concerns within the community.
According to the Georgia Virtue, Susan Nelson’s expenses include Verizon bills and an OnlyFans subscription. The publication also reported that she made PayPal transactions to her own business, Sweet Grace Marketing, LLC, and transferred money to her personal USAA bank account.
Furthermore, she stands accused of altering the name of the booster club account to her own and attempting to conceal the transfers.
According to Richmond Hill Police, Nelson served as the president of the booster club during the alleged occurrence of these crimes.
Richmond Hill Police reported that Nelson had been making plans to leave town, putting her home on the market, and altering her appearance.
Nelson’s bond was denied, but she has another hearing scheduled for March 20. We reached out to the school system and Nelson’s attorney for comment, but we are still awaiting their response.
According to the New York Post, Nelson has a track record of alleged fraud. In fact, just last year, she admitted to withholding $10,000 that was raised for the family of Mica Miller.
