Fugitive From Tennessee On The Run Since 2018 Apprehends In Randolph County: Sheriff’s Office

A man who fled the state of Tennessee in 2018, violating his parole, was apprehended in Randolph County on Thursday, as reported by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.

The Tennessee Department of Correction Office of Investigation and Conduct Apprehension and Enforcement Unit sought assistance from the Sheriff’s Office in locating 33-year-old Tennessee resident Christopher Andrew Lee.

In July 2018, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Lee as he violated his probation by leaving Tennessee. Initially, he had been sentenced to six years on probation.

On Thursday, authorities apprehended Lee at a residence on Huntingwood Road in Ramseur. They took him to the Randolph County Detention Center and set a $200,000 secured bond. Lee made his first court appearance on Friday.
