Undocumented immigrants in Florida caught distributing fentanyl, ICE highlights dangers
On Wednesday, local authorities in the Florida Panhandle arrested undocumented immigrants from Jamaica who were distributing fentanyl, as reported by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on X.
The agencies that collaborated in this operation were Enforcement and Removal Operations Miami, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Drug Enforcement Administration of Miami, FBI Jacksonville, ATF Tampa, Bay County Sheriff’s Office, and the Panama City Police Department.
On Thursday, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement expressed their gratitude to the FDLE for their post and took the opportunity to raise awareness about the dangers associated with fentanyl.
“Our law enforcement partners at the FDLE have made families in the Florida panhandle safer this week,” the post stated.
