Eight individuals are facing charges following a drug bust in northeast Iowa. On November 27, the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 2200 block of State Highway 9. The operation led to the following charges:
- Ckaiden Nelson-Coonradt, 21, of Elmore, Minnesota, is charged with a Class D Felony for intent to distribute marijuana under 50 kg.
- Zachary Sorenson, 31, of Decorah, Iowa, faces a Class D Felony for failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a Class D Felony for intent to distribute marijuana under 50 kg, aggravated misdemeanor child endangerment, and a serious misdemeanor for gathering where marijuana is used.
- Ashleigh Sorenson, 29, of Decorah, is charged with a serious misdemeanor for possession of marijuana (1st offense).
- Devan Forbes, 26, of Manchester, is charged with a serious misdemeanor for possession of marijuana (1st offense).
- Luke Price, 26, of Decorah, is charged with a serious misdemeanor for possession of marijuana (1st offense).
- Lexus Six, 36, of Decorah, is charged with a serious misdemeanor for possession of marijuana (1st offense).
- Tyler Dozark, 25, of Decorah, is charged with a serious misdemeanor for possession of marijuana (1st offense).
- Jacob Willitts, 28, of New Hampton, Iowa, faces a Class D Felony for possession of a controlled substance (3rd/subsequent offense).
The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office has stated that the investigation is ongoing, with more search warrants, arrests, and charges expected.
