Drug Investigation Leads To Numerous Arrests And Felony Charges In Hobart

According to a press release from Hobart, the Hobart Police Narcotics Unit investigators conducted a search on February 11, 2025, at two locations in Hobart. The search warrants were served in the 0 block of East 3rd Street and the 1300 block of West 37th Avenue. This operation was a part of an ongoing investigation into narcotics trafficking.

During their investigation, law enforcement discovered an individual involved in the distribution of cocaine in Hobart. As the investigation progressed, they identified several other individuals connected to this drug trafficking operation. Throughout the course of their inquiry, investigators successfully confiscated significant amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine, and even a firearm.

Lake County Superior Court charged the following individuals:

Richard Morris, a 40-year-old resident of Hobart,

Joshua Harris, a 35-year-old resident of Hobart,

Kimberly Morris, a 61-year-old resident of Hobart

Ricky Burns, a 70-year-old resident of Hobart,

According to the police, the investigation is still ongoing and there is a possibility of more charges in the future.
