Additionally, this crime encompasses incidents where individuals pilfer items from cars. In a recent report by the Newark Post Online, it was revealed that Christina Cerroni, aged 46, was apprehended by the Delaware State Police for multiple vehicle thefts that occurred from late September to December 29th. These thefts took place in the areas of Newark and Wilmington.
When it comes to car theft, Christina specifically targeted cars that were left unlocked. However, her criminal activities didn’t stop at automobiles. She was also accused of stealing from multiple stores in a nearby mall. The police claim that she managed to steal merchandise worth over $1,000. Interestingly, law enforcement had been actively searching for her but were unable to locate her until December 30th.
The car theft suspect was discovered by the police when they responded to a casino’s call regarding a disorderly woman who refused to leave. Initially, the woman, known as Christiana, provided the officers with a false name. However, her true identity was soon revealed, leading to her arrest. Christiana now faces numerous charges, including five counts of motor vehicle theft, five counts of shoplifting, and public intoxication. At the time of the initial report, she was unable to post a $2,000 cash bond.
