Houston Man Charged with Murdering Wife at Northside Motel
A Houston man is being held on a $250,000 bond after allegedly killing his wife inside a northside motel and then contacting police, authorities said.
Myron Lynn Strambler, 36, faces murder charges for the death of his wife, Alicia Strambler, on November 27. The incident occurred at the Moonlight Inn, located in the 5200 block of Airline Drive, shortly after 6 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found Myron standing on the motel’s balcony with blood on his shirt, police reported. Inside the motel room, authorities discovered Alicia’s body.
Court documents reveal that Myron allegedly struck Alicia’s head against a wall using his fist and an unidentified object, causing fatal injuries.
Myron was arrested at the scene and taken to the Harris County Jail. Records also show he has a prior conviction for the felony offense of sexual assault of a child in 2009.
