A deputy prosecutor in Clark County was taken into custody in southern Indiana on Sunday night and has subsequently been suspended from his duties.
His name is David C. Carroll, but according to the Clark County Prosecutor’s website, he is known by his middle name, Chris.
Carroll was taken into custody by the authorities in Floyd County on Sunday night. He faces two charges, namely OWI and OWI – endangering another person, as per the available online court records.
The details of this case are still unclear at this point.
According to Clark County Prosecutor Jeremy Mull, WAVE reported that Carroll was promptly suspended from his duties following his arrest. Mull stated that he would carefully assess the charges and evidence before making a final decision regarding Carroll’s employment.
Carroll is set to make an initial appearance in court on Friday.
