Chambersburg Dollar Shop Manager Accused Of Taking Thousands Of Deposit Slips From Business

A former manager of the Dollar Tree in Greene Township is facing theft charges from her workplace. Elizabeth Erin Hall remains in custody on $10,000 bond after being charged with felony theft by unauthorized take of movable property.

The Dollar Tree in Greene Township summoned Pennsylvania State Police just before noon on February 3rd to investigate a reported theft. PSP discovered that deposit slips ranging from 1/6/25 to 1/25/25 totaled $2539.79. The complaint then met with the store’s manager, Elizabeth Hall, about the missing slips. Hall then reportedly acknowledged collecting the deposit slips “every couple of days due to financial difficulties she was having.”.

Troopers say they questioned Hall about the missing slips, and she acknowledged taking deposit slips in November. At this moment, PSP has just charged Hall with taking the January deposit slips.

Elizabeth Hall is still behind bars on a $10,000 bond.
