She tragically passed away due to a freak skiing accident, which caused severe head injuries. Despite receiving immediate medical intervention and emergency brain surgery, her injuries were too severe to recover from.
Days before her passing, Lynn shared on Instagram that her life took a sudden turn on Christmas Eve when she accidentally caught the tip of a cliff and fell face-first while atop a mountain. In her post, she mentioned, “Erring on the side of caution, I decided to have ski patrol check me for a concussion. They evaluated me and confirmed that I was okay. Although I had a slight headache, I thought it would go away after lunch and I could continue skiing. However, a paramedic advised me to go to the hospital for a CT scan. Little did I know, this decision would prove to be life-saving.”
The accident has been labeled as a sudden tragedy, leaving a profound impact on those who knew and admired her.
On her Instagram page, her son Sebastian expressed his thoughts by writing:
She was and always will be my best friend, the best mother to me, and someone who cared for all. She always had a smile on her face even when times were tough during her recovery process. She was a fighter until the end and is the strongest woman I know. She was the funniest and coolest mum I could ever ask for. She took care of me, my dad, and our Entire family throughout her whole life. Although she may be gone now, I will do everything I can to make sure she is never forgotten and for her life to be celebrated as it deserves to be. As a final message to my mum, I would just like to say that I will miss you forever and to end in something she always told me “I love you more than life itself” mum.
