Authorities in a southern Minnesota city are looking into the finding of human remains on an abandoned property.
The Jordan Police Department has released a news statement stating that during their search for a missing 46-year-old woman, officers found human remains on a property that was associated with the missing person. Currently, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting investigations to determine the identity of the remains and the cause of death.
According to Jordan police, a woman was reported missing on Tuesday afternoon. The preliminary investigation suggests that there is no immediate or heightened threat to the public in connection with the case.
