Miguel Rosas Galvan, Dennis Manuel Guillen, and Oscar Manuel Guillen are currently facing multiple charges in connection with the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Anthony Carlos, according to the police.

Tempe police received a distress call on Thursday evening at approximately 8:30 p.m. The call originated from an apartment complex on Washington Street and Loop 202.

According to court documents, the incident began when Galvan threatened to shoot up the house where Carlos’ children reside.

The argument escalated, according to the woman’s account to the police. In response, she and Carlos decided to leave the apartment and found a bench outside to sit on.

Another resident, who was present in the apartment, overheard Galvan making a phone call and giving instructions to bring firearms. He stated that he would take action if he had a gun.

While they were sitting outside, they noticed four Hispanic men making their way towards them. The woman tried to ask them to leave, but they refused. According to court documents, one of the older men in the group addressed the woman saying, “I heard you have a problem with my son.”

According to court paperwork, another individual claimed, “I also possess firearms,” and proceeded to open fire.

According to documents, the woman informed the police that she and Carlos initially faced difficulty in re-entering the apartment. However, they eventually succeeded in gaining access, only to be struck and subsequently knocked to the ground.

Detectives discovered approximately 30 bullet casings at the scene, with the casings belonging to .40 and .45 caliber guns. However, none of the casings matched Carlos’ 9mm gun.

On Sunday, the police apprehended Galvan, Dennis, and Oscar by utilizing surveillance, phone records, and Galvan’s ankle monitor.

They are all facing charges of conspiracy, first-degree murder, and aggravated assault.

The police are currently investigating the shooting, and they have stated that there are still suspects who have not yet been apprehended.
