Rick Fingeret of Florida was taking his two labrador retrievers for a walk on a typical day. As they strolled along their usual path, they passed by a pond where they had previously spotted alligators.

However, the situation took a turn for the worse when things suddenly became life-threatening. The 11-foot creature aggressively lunged towards Fingeret, its mouth wide open, moving at a speed of 10 mph. Despite his attempts to retreat, Fingeret stumbled and found himself trapped in the jaws of the alligator.

The alligator attempted to pull Fingeret towards the water but had difficulty due to his large size. Fingeret fought back by poking the alligator’s eyes in an attempt to free himself, but he was unable to escape. The dogs stood frozen in terror.

While driving by, Walt Rudder and Paula Keegan came across a distressing scene. They witnessed Fingeret lying on his side, screaming in pain. Initially, they thought he might have fallen, but soon realized that he was actually trapped in the jaws of an alligator.

Fingeret instructed Rudder to put his dogs in the Lincoln SUV and run over the alligator. Rudder followed the instructions and successfully ran over the alligator, causing it to retreat back into the water.

When the police officers arrived, Rudder and Keegan used a t-shirt and a dog leash to stop Fingeret’s bleeding, as reported by Good News Network.
