A woman from Colorado has been sentenced to 4 years in prison and 10 years to life on Se* Offender Intensive Supervision Probation after admitting to several charges. The 28-year-old woman, known as lmagine, pleaded guilty to se*ual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the first degree. As part of her guilty plea, three other felony charges and one misdemeanor were dropped, according to the District Attorney.
The defendant had been employed by the school district from 2015 to 2023, fulfilling various roles such as a school nurse, classroom aide, and teaching assistant. As per Colorado authorities, she specifically served as an educational assistant for the victim, whose identity remains undisclosed due to his age, between August 2023 and November 2023. During this time, she primarily assisted in special needs classrooms.
The investigation began after the child’s instructor discovered inappropriate writing on the victim’s homework. During the inquiry, Colorado authorities discovered that the 16-year-old kid and the woman had frequent sexual encounters and were constantly in digital communication. Prosecutors also claimed the mother introduced the youngster to drugs, alcohol, and firearms. According to court records, the woman allegedly gave the youngster fentanyl.
During the investigation, the woman even requested the son to bring a gun to school and shoot a coworker. She allegedly instructed him to bring the gun to school and shoot another faculty member in the leg. According to Colorado authorities, the woman’s fondness toward the youngster was detected by workers almost immediately, with signs of an illicit relationship beginning around September 2023, according to a statement. After being sentenced, the woman apologized to the victim and his family.
The victim’s mother, who was not identified, reportedly stated that the 28-year-old preyed on her child, ‘leading him to feel she actually cared for him, all while exploiting him for money and brainwashing him into thinking he was ‘the one.’. “I trusted the defendant and would not have given her such close access if I had known what was going on.”
