An investigation is currently underway following the discovery of a deceased man beneath his car in eastern Alabama.
Authorities are currently investigating the death of a 51-year-old man, whose identity has not been disclosed. The man suffered multiple injuries from his hogs, however, the exact cause of his death remains unknown.
There is still uncertainty surrounding the circumstances of the man’s death in Calhoun County. Coroner Pat Brown has stated that it is unclear whether the man experienced a medical event prior to being attacked by the hogs, or if the hogs themselves were the direct cause of his death.
First responders were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. Monday to a property off Highway 278 in Piedmont, where they discovered the guy dead behind his automobile, which was surrounded by hogs.
According to Brown, “We are of the belief that the event took place on Sunday.”
According to Brown, the man owned the hogs.
The investigation is currently underway.
