Winter Storm Warning Extended For Tuesday Night And Wednesday Morning

The Winter Storm Warning has now been expanded to include Metro Louisville, Harrison Co, and Shelby Co. These counties, along with the ones already included, will be under the warning starting from 7PM this evening until 12PM Wednesday.

A Winter Weather Advisory continues to cover most of our Indiana counties during the same timeframe as the Winter Storm Warning.

The National Weather Service has recently added new counties to the Winter Storm Warning. Here are the latest updates regarding this warning.

    • WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches.
    • WHERE…Portions of south central Indiana and east central and north central Kentucky.
    • WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Wednesday.
    • IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute.

    • IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute.
