New Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives Both Wanted For Crimes Against Children: DPS

The Texas Department of Public Safety has recently included two individuals in their Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Lists.

Two individuals, Brandon Hartfield, 37, from San Antonio, and Salvador Saucedo Jr, 37, from Bryan, are both being sought for committing crimes against children.

Here’s what we know so far: Hartfield, a fugitive, has recently been included in the prestigious Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List.

Since August 2024, Hartfield has been wanted by Bexar County for the sexual assault of a child and by the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles for a parole violation.

He has been involved in various criminal activities, including aggravated robbery, burglary of a habitation with the intention to commit other felonies, burglary of a habitation, and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.

He is a Black male, standing around 6’3″ and weighing approximately 235 lbs. His chest and both arms are adorned with tattoos, while he bears scars on his left leg and right forearm.

Salvador Saucedo Jr

Here’s what we know: Saucedo has recently been included in the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders List.

Saucedo, who has multiple warrants out for his arrest, including one from Gonzales County for indecency with a child by sexual contact since March 2024, and another from College Station for harassment since May 2024, is a convicted sex offender.

He was arrested in Bellville on Jan. 23, but managed to escape from custody. As a result, additional warrants were issued the following day, which included:

    • Escape while arrested
    • Assault on a peace officer
    • Possession of a controlled substance
    • Failure to identify as a fugitive
    • Resisting arrest

On January 27, Brazos County issued another warrant against Saucedo for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Saucedo had been convicted in August 2022 for indecency with a child by sexual contact after an incident involving an 11-year-old girl. As a result, he was given a 10-year probation sentence and is obligated to register annually.

Throughout his criminal record, he has been involved in various serious offenses. These include instances of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault causing bodily harm to a family member, indecent exposure to a child, sexual contact with a child, stalking, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of prohibited weapons such as knuckles, switchblades, and knuckles.

The suspect is a Hispanic man standing at approximately 5’11” and weighing around 190 lbs. His distinctive features include tattoos on his face, neck, chest, arms, and legs, along with noticeable scars on his abdomen, left forearm, and upper left arm.

He goes by many names, including Salvador Sauceda Jr., Salvador Saucedo, Salvador Sergio Saucedo Jr., Sergio Saucedo, Sergie, Saucedo Sergie, and Sergio.

What you can do: Texas Crime Stoppers is providing a lucrative cash reward of up to $5,000 for any valuable information that leads to the arrest of either of the individuals.

To qualify for cash rewards, individuals who wish to share information with authorities must use one of the three methods listed below:

    • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477)
    • Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about then clicking on the link under their picture
    • Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section)

Tips can be submitted anonymously and the identity of the tipster will be protected. Instead of using names, tipsters will be assigned a unique tip number.

It is strongly advised that the public does not attempt to apprehend these fugitives on their own, as they are deemed armed and dangerous.
