A significant drug bust in Massachusetts resulted in the charging of multiple individuals.
On Monday afternoon, authorities in Berkshire County made the announcement.
During their months-long investigation, investigators journeyed to various cities including North Adams, Adams, Pittsfield, and Lowell.
On Friday, law enforcement executed a total of twenty-three search warrants, resulting in a significant seizure of illicit substances from the streets. The operation successfully removed over $200,000 worth of street drugs, including 700 grams of cocaine, 320 grams of heroin, and 300 grams of fentanyl pills. In addition to the drug confiscation, the authorities also seized a substantial amount of cash, totaling more than $60,000, as well as several firearms, according to investigators.
Henry Vidal, aged 42, along with Jose Carrasquillo, aged 50, Richard Colon, aged 44, Victor Colon, aged 45, Julio Colon-Valentin, aged 26, Andy Rivera-Medina, aged 44, Kahlil Lanphear-Dyer, aged 26, Ismael Beltre-Beltre, aged 39, Gerard Mendez-Navarro, aged 19, and Meagan Oakley, aged 32, have all been charged.
