Five individuals were taken into custody on Thursday as part of a drug investigation at a residence in north Lincoln, according to authorities.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., the LPD Swat Team and Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force conducted a search warrant at a residence located near 24th and Potter streets.
According to the police, they conducted the search as part of a continuing narcotics investigation. Their investigation had revealed that methamphetamine was being sold at the residence.
Upon searching the premises, law enforcement officers discovered a cache of illicit substances, including methamphetamine and marijuana. Additionally, various drug-related tools, a significant sum of money, and multiple firearms were also uncovered during the investigation, as stated by the police.
Frennel Henderson, Papay Quiah, Rebecca Coulter, Ericka Holder, and Alysha Canfield were apprehended by law enforcement.
Henderson was taken into custody on suspicion of committing felony drug offenses and illegally possessing a firearm as a prohibited individual.
Quiah is currently dealing with two charges of possessing a firearm as a prohibited person. The other three individuals, on the other hand, were charged based on suspicions of possessing a controlled substance.
A 38-year-old man from Lincoln was transported to the hospital after a suspected drug overdose, according to the police. Upon his release, he will be cited and detained.
